The World Nomad Game is an unique event, not only for sports, but also for people to become acquainted with the cultural life of our country. The unique nomad camp of 150 Yurts will be located in Kyrchyn Jailoo (30 km far from Cholpon-Ata town) and will show elements of the nomad lifestyle of Nomad People.
The countries taking part in World Nomad Games are the former Soviet republics of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Russian Federation (especially Sakha, Buryatia, Altay, Kalmykia, Bashkortostan republics, etc.)
This is an exclusive tour which will dive into the culture of the nomadic peoples of Central Asia as well as offering a unique chance to visit the incredible World Nomad Games 2018. It promises all of the epic nomadic action you’ve only ever seen on the all over World
Day 01: Arrival at Bishkek
Arrival in Bishkek. Meeting at the airport “Manas”, transfer to the hotel 3*. Rest. Sightseeing tour: visit Ala-Too square, Osh market Opera and Ballet Theatre, Fine Art Museum, World National Library and etc. Dinner in local restaurant. Accommodation in the hotel 3*. Meals: dinner
Day 02: Bishkek – Issyk-Kul lake: World Nomad Games
Breakfast. Transfer to Cholpon-Ata, northern shore of Issyk-Kul lake (270 km, 5 hrs) where the World Nomad Games start. Issyk Kul Lake is the second largest alpine lake in the world after Lake Titicaca. Upon arrival visit Cultural Complex “Ruh Ordo” after name of Kyrgyz famous writer Chyngyz Aitmatov, Petroglyphs museum on open air. This evening attends the World Nomad Games opening ceremony. The event is popular among Central Asia countries and expected a large crowd of many nationalities. Accommodation in the Home Stay. Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Day 03: Cholpon-Ata town: World Nomad Games
During these 2 days we will visit different The World Nomad Games which takes place in different locations. We will visit events in all the locations. Events include several forms of wrestling such as “alysh” belt wrestling, eagle hunting, bone throwing and the enduringly popular and the most popular among nomad people “kok-buru” game (headless goat polo). Accommodation in the Home Stay. Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Day 04: Kyrchyn pasture: World Nomad Games
After breakfast drive to Kyrchyn pasture 30 km far from Cholpon –Ata where more than 300 Yurts (Kyrgyz mobile house) will be settle down to create Ethno Nomad Village. In this place some of the Nomad Games will take place. Young men and women in traditional national costumes will meet guests at the beautiful gate of the ethno-village. From the very first steps, the guests will feel the indescribable atmosphere of celebrities, they will see primordial culture of nomads and get acquainted with the customs and traditions of the Kyrgyz people. Dinner in Ethno restaurant. Accommodation in the Ethno Yurt village. Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Day 05: Kyrchyn pasture: World Nomad Games
Breakfast in Ethno village. In the ethno village will presented 7 regions with 200 Yurts where you can visit each regions and see their demonstrations of the nomad games and nomad traditions. There you will visit Ethno Bazar and Ethno World Houses where will be presented around products and traditional ethno houses of 135 countries from all over the worlds. After 19:00 will be started evening programs with Bon Fire and Traditional Folklore. Accommodation in the Ethno Yurt village. Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Day 06: Cholpon-Ata – Karakol – JetyOguz
After breakfast drive to JetyOguz Gorge (175 km 3-4 hrs) via Karakol town where you will visit Prejevalskiy Museum, Dungan mosque (built in 1910 years), Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (XVIIII cen.) in Karakol. Afternoon arrival to Jety-Oguz Gorge, see seven red stone mountains and Broken Heart mountains. Walking to waterfall in the Kok-Jaiyk summer pasture which is surrounded by coniferous forests. Dinner and accommodation in the Nomad Yurts of local Sheperd’s. Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Day 07: JetyOguz –Cholpon-Ata (final game of KOK BORU NOMAD GAME)
After breakfast transfer to Cholpon-Ata (180 km, 3-4 hrs) along northern side of Issyk-kul lake. This day will be Final Game of KOK BORU Nomad Game, starts at 14:00. Usually, the final game is very exciting and hot battle. DON’T MISS it. Dinner in local restaurant. Accommodation local Home Stay. Meals: breakfast, dinner.
Day 08: Cholpon-Ata – Bishkek
Breakfast. Transfer to Bishkek (270 km). Check-in. Free day for local shopping or rest. Dinner in local restaurant. Accommodation in the hotel 3* / hotel 4*. Meals: breakfast and dinner.
Day 09: Depart from Bishkek
Breakfast. Transfer to Bishkek (35 km, 30 min). Departure.
